Heating them with the sugar to 160F pasteurizes the eggs, which kills/slows microbial growth, and makes them safe to eat. Buying high quality, super fresh eggs is the way to go. You may be able to experiment with pre-pasteurized eggs if you're worried, though I haven't tried it myself.Kristenhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10767872513414357997noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6110050285672974249.post-81391529570970578942013-07-29T09:50:44.837-04:002013-07-29T09:50:44.837-04:00Wonderful recipe!!! No matter how much whipping or time I spend incorporating the sugar it always comes out with at least some graininess to it and is beyond super sweet. I like sweet. I just don't want my frosting to bury the taste of my cupcakes. This recipe is AMAZING! Not too sweet, stiff enough to stand on it's own, no messy confectioner's sugar to clean up. Best part, my husband loves it! That is saying something because he is not a dessert person and has hated every other frosting recipe I've tried.

Thank you so much!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6110050285672974249.post-18309793119342297842013-06-03T09:42:13.384-04:002013-06-03T09:42:13.384-04:00Thank you Milk and Honey, and thank you so much fo...Thank you Milk and Honey, and thank you so much for the inspiration! They're super easy to make; take a look at this tutorial: http://www.marthastewart.com/265163/pom-poms-and-luminarias-how-to. You can also buy them from places like Etsy, and I think Martha Stewart (and probably others) sell kits.Kristenhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10767872513414357997noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6110050285672974249.post-24275797656157347492013-05-29T17:22:13.610-04:002013-05-29T17:22:13.610-04:00what are the 3d paper flowers on the wall and wher...what are the 3d paper flowers on the wall and where can i get them??Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04982464233159788885noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6110050285672974249.post-51215727310211741152013-05-18T22:52:42.519-04:002013-05-18T22:52:42.519-04:00Seriously want one or three of these now.
