Well, wedding season is officially underway, and I have baked and baked and baked and decorated pretty much non stop for the past few weeks!
Here's the first wedding cake - a dramatic 3-tiered coconut cake with raspberry cream filling. The cake was covered in white fondant with ivory striping, and accented with crystals and large black sugar roses.
Over 160 cupcakes accompanied this cake. Guests could choose from lemon cupcakes with tangy lemon curd filling, or chocolate cupcakes filled with a chocolate ganache filled fresh raspberry. Cupcakes were baked in black liners, topped with a buttercream swirl, and rolled in coarse sparkling sugar. Unfortunately I don't have any pictures at the moment, but will post some later on!
